'Twas a Beautiful Day for a Block Party!

Thanks to the hard work of our Civic Association and neighborhood volunteers, the 2023 MHCK Civic Association Block Party was a huge success! Over 200 neighbors gathered in Capitol View Park on Sunday, June 4. The event featured live music from a hyperlocal band, The Darrows! Participants enjoyed ice pops, hot dogs, and delicious bundt cakes contributed by one of our Civic Association sponsor Nothing Bundt Cakes. Children of all ages put together arts and crafts, played yard games, and bounced till they dropped in the Moon Bounce - sponsored by our neighbor and local realtor Bruce Cotting, It was a joy to see neighbors new and old get to know each other better. The Civic Association looks forward to seeing you all again soon at National Night Out at Flora Singer School parking lot on Tuesday, August 1st, at 7:00PM. RSVP here!
